Quail breed

Coturnix quail

Starts laying at six to eight weeks old and keeps going; few birds turn feed into eggs faster. Jumbo strains are grown for meat. Pharaoh is the wild colour, and Fee, Tibetan and the rest are colour forms. Some towns that ban chickens allow quail, so check the rules where you live.

Hatch Index lists 3 varieties of Coturnix quail from 1 hatchery, and none is in stock today.
